This week we will feature Vinnie Jones with his cute dog pet, Jack Russell Terrier.

Vincent Peter “Vinnie” Jones (born 5 January 1965) is a British actor and former professional footballer. He has capitalised on his tough man image as a footballer and is known as an actor for his aggressive style and intimidating demeanour, often being typecast into roles as coaches, hooligans and violent criminals.

There was a story about Vinnie Jones being saved by his dog. It was said that Vinnie Jones was once so depressed, he planned to shoot himself – but his dog saved him from pulling the trigger. The soccer star-turned-actor battled a spell of depression more than 10 years ago and decided to end his life in woodland near his home in the U.K. But his pet Jack Russell terrier followed him – and Jones abandoned his suicide mission when he caught sight of the dog’s pleading look. He says, “I was tired of causing people stress… It was a cheap way out. But I did think everyone would be better off if I was out of the way and I stopped causing them trouble.”

Who is she? Her birth name is Lianne Paul Piper. Lianne Paul Piper was born in Swindon, Wiltshire, England. On 22 September 1983, her name was officially changed to Billie Paul Piper, by her parents, Paul Victor Piper and Mandy Kane Kent. Piper has one younger brother, Charley, and two younger sisters, Harley and Elle. Her most famous role is as Rose Tyler, companion to the Doctor, in the television series Doctor Who from 2005 to 2006, a role she reprised in 2008 and 2010. In 2007, Broadcast magazine listed Piper at no. 6 in its “Hot 100” list of influential on-screen performers, the top woman on the list. Some Ideas for Naming Your Dog

Some dog owners rack their brains out trying to name their dog, sometimes they even think more about dog’s name than the name of their child.

One of the best ways to find that perfect name is to think about your dog’s character, it will often give you some ideas for the name. If that doesn’t help, maybe there is a trick your dog can do which you can use to find him a name. Keep the name short, it will be easier for the dog to remember and understand it.

Dogs are vocal and not verbal animals. To them it is important how the word sounds, which is something you have to keep in mind while naming them.

It is best to let your dog choose its own name. There are two ways to do this. First, spend some time with him so you can get to know him and his nature, character and choose appropriate name accordingly.

For instance, when a friend of mine got his husky mongrel he was all over the place! Not only he would jump all over him but he also used to pin him against the wall and get things out of his pockets, so he was always joking “I’m being mugged” thus he named it Mugger. A colleague of mine had a very spirited and playful little rascal who never gave her any time off so she named it Chaos.

Let your dog earn its name.

One way is to put together a list of your favorite names and try them out on your dog with a playful and cheerful voice. The name which your dog best reacts to is the name for him. And believe me, he will react differently to various names. Try it and you’ll see!

On the contrary to what people think, a dog’s name should be changed with the owner. It is considered that once dog gets used to its name it shouldn’t be changed. Wrong! Many dog owners make the mistake of using a dog’s name with contempt or as a warning, so if you keep that name dog will see you as one of them, previous owners. Therefore, if the dog is yours now, you can’t assume that the previous owner did everything right. If he had, you probably wouldn’t have to dog now. You’re trying to tell dog new house new rules, right? So, say it with a new name, especially if the old one was used with a negative connotation.

Teach him the new name while enjoying nice things like treats, meals, cuddling or playing, and don’t choose a name that sounds like the previous one.

If this doesn’t work for you, you simply can’t get any ideas; pick up a dictionary of native or foreign names, maybe even some mythology books and try finding or combining something that works for you and especially for your dog. Remember – it’s not just about what you like and what sounds good to you but what the dog likes best.

Mariah Carey’s Jack Russell, called “Jack” ( or Jackson P. Muttley, to give him his full title) can be seen with her wherever she goes. Except when she flies these days. She lost her cool after she was informed her Jack Russell was “too big” and not famous enough to join her in the executive cabin. Mariah was furious at the airlines who won’t let her beloved dog Jack fly first class with her. “They actually won’t let me put him on a first class seat because he’s too big. They would only allow it for a famous dog. Please! He has three websites dedicated to him!”, fumes Mariah. Jack Russells are actually small dogs, and are energetic and devoted companions. Many a heart has been captured by their spirit.

Mariah Carey has certainly been in and out of the spotlight and made plenty of comebacks, but the limelight has still managed to catch her dog, the Jack Russell appropriately named.. Jack. This pampered pooch has made appearances in more than a couple of her music videos and even in her movie, Glitter, which sadly for Jack didn’t do too well. New mom Mariah Carey is trying to lose her post-baby weight, and her Jack Russell Terrier, named Jill E. Beans, is helping out.

Mariah recently tweeted a photo of Jill E. Beans joining her in the pool for some water aerobics last week. She also has four other Jack Russell Terriers: Cha Cha, Squeak E. Beans, JJ, and Jackie Lambchops. (nice names, Mariah!)

It is currently finishing its final stages of development in a test tube in San Diego, California.

Cats or dogs? What makes an ideal pet? The truth is that it depends on a person. Recent studies show that people who have pets are much healthier than those who don’t. for that reason, if you can, you should definitely get a pet, just choose the one that best suits your needs.

Choosing a cat as a pet is a big decision. You should consider whether or not it will fit into your life style. Keep in mind that for the next 15 years or so it will be a part of your life and family, which means a lot of great time and fun, but also a lot of obligations.
Both cats and dogs have their pros and cons; it is up to you to decide which one works for you the best.
Some say cats are the best pets, so let’s see why. They are easily litter box trained; sometimes no training is required at all. You just pour the sand in a wide box and that’s it. They’ll remember its location almost immediately, and if they don’t – just show them a few times or dig in the sand a bit to get their attention. They are great if you live in an apartment because they are very clean. When it comes to moulting, brushing and washing it all depends. For instance, short-haired cats don’t require bathing (except for emergencies) because they are able to maintain their own fur. The problem may arise between your furniture and the cat, so if you don’t want the cat to win – get a scratching post!

As you can see, cats are small, quiet, cute and cuddly, but what makes dog ideal?
We all know the saying “Dog is a man’s best friend” and it is – you have a friend, someone to talk to and walk with. Regular walking improves the fitness of dog owners, as well as social interaction since you can make friends with other dog owners. Walks help you forget the stress of the everyday life giving you time to spend with your most loyal friend. He will also fill you with warmth of the unconditional love. Dog owners also have a stronger immune system which helps them fight the disease easily. People with dogs also have lower blood pressure compared to people who don’t, and have a much higher survival rate after a heart attack.

Apart from this, don’t forget that dogs are very entertaining, they can make you laugh, especially if you had a bad day, they are also there for an encouraging hug, if you need one. You’ll be equally happy to spend your free time playing with your pet in a park or simply resting at home, enjoying the company of one another. And the love you give him, the dog will return to you tenfold.

Both dogs and cats give a lot of love and warmth but they also require attention; have certain dietary and other needs so don’t just think about what you like and need, think about whether or not you can provide what they crave. And, have fun with your new pet!

Simpson, star of the much maligned Dukes of Hazard movie, asked a chef in a restaurant to cook her pampered pooch a gourmet meal.

Jessica was in the W Hotel in Arizona to discuss new projects, and while she was there she needed to feed her dog.
